I have been obsessed with body shimmer since I was a zygote. I was dusting myself with the blend I make for myself and then I was like... hold up let me make a big batch so my girlies can be glowy and hoey along with me. So I present to you... Disco Dust.
I like to blend together multiple pigments of shimmering mica powders to give color and dimension that glows differently in a variety of light, which gives your skin a shade shifting opalescent effect and looks incred on any skin tone. I also like to add in a little bit of ultra fine pearlescent glitter because I feel like straight mica powder doesn't give off much in super dim light. And then I blend it all in a powder blend so that the shimmer has some spreadability and glide to it. Plus it prevents it from feeling sticky or tacky on your skin.
OH, and due to the fact that I cannot exist without smelling like ice cream or cake or some other delicious treat, it is VERY lightly scented. My gourmand hating girlies won't even notice it, but my fellow sluts for gourmand will be happy to get a hint of it.
A little goes a LONG way! I like to get a tiny bit on the brush, swirl it around in the lid, tap it off, and then dust it on. Because the mica powder is harder to see in dim or poorly lit areas, you might not see how much is on until you go outside or get in better lighting, so don't go overboard unless you're going for an Edward Cullen vibe, which honestly? I'm obsessed with.
