Thirty is what I've dubbed my 🦋 year of transformation 🦋. Mainly because I got my ass absolutely HANDED to me pretty much all of 29. It was just one thing after the next, but one thing about me? I'm resilient. Always one to bounce back without anyone seeing me sweat. Someone I admire that embodies resilience is Donatella Versace. When her brother was killed in '97, corporate basically told her to get over it because she had a fashion house to run. With two kids under 10 and no time to grieve, she fuckin did it. Less than 6 months later, she debuted her first collection as creative director of Versace. She said that right before that show started, a butterfly came in out of nowhere, which she thought was Gianni telling her she did a good job. Butterflies have been featured in many of her collections ever since.
